Welcome to Quill & Mouse Studios, Inc.,a full service graphic arts company providing clients with professional computer typography, graphic design, and website creation—all at affordable prices. We provide businesses all across the United States with professionally designed promotional pieces, both printed and electronic.
Quill & Mouse Studios began in 1993 as design and typesetting shop. As such, we designed logos and created all manner of typesetting pieces, including business stationery, advertisements, flyers, newsletters, even full-length books.
In 1996, we bought our largest customer, Precision Marketing and Client Communications, a national producer of custom newsletters for certain medical professions. With this expansion, Quill & Mouse Studios incorporated and made Precision Marketing a subsidiary. We continue to service this unique market and are one of the few national providers of custom practice newsletters. You can learn more about this service and related products at PracticeNewsletters.com.
With that expansion, Quill & Mouse Studios, Inc. also moved into the automotive shop newsletter field. Business quickly grew by word of mouth to auto shops all across the nation. Learn more about our fully-custom automotive shop newsletters at our AutoShopNewsletters.com website. To this day, custom newsletters remain a major product line for us.
In 1997, we added website creation to our growing list of services. Begining with our own site, we’ve branched out and built sites for a variety of businesses and organizations, including full ecommerce websites with secure online ordering and sites with complex database backends. If your business isn’t on the web yet, it should be! We can help you get an online presence. Already have a site, but not happy with it. We can help! From just tweaking the code to doing a complete re-design of the site, we're here for you.
Also in 1997, one of our principals co-founded the Suncoast Linux Users Group (SLUG), an organization dedicated to help members gain expertise in the Linux operating system and increase awareness and acceptance of Linux in the community. Most of our office computers use Linux and all are run on a Linux-based network.
In 2000, we expanded once again, giving our web clients a complete one-stop service by adding website hosting. We saw too many clients being confused by the Internet maze and realized the best thing would be for us to add hosting to our website design and maintenance services. All the sites we host are on Linux servers providing better security, dependability, and features.
In 2001, we launched a website dedicated to our subsidiary’s service, custom newsletters for medical practices. That site, PracticeNewsletters.com has been a big hit, making it easy for doctors to find out about this valuable service.
At the beginning of 2004, we launched a website dedicated to our custom auto shop newsletter product line, conveniently named AutoShopNewsletters.com. This makes a total of four websites for our company, all to make it easier for potential clients to find necessary information about our services.
In 2005 we began the process of fully merging our Precision Marketing subsidiary into the parent company. Today our letterhead bears both company names and logos. Also that year we filed the necessary paperwork to register our Quill & Mouse logo. The application process can be confusing and it takes time to become final. We finally received the official paperwork showing the logo is now registered in early 2006.
In 2010, we expanded our product line once again, adding beautiful full color postcards. These joined several other full color products offered, including newsletters, brochures, business cards, and "Care to Share" referral cards.
